How it works

Precise claims, not “certified correct.”

Scientific truth can't be read off a workflow, so Genomarker never issues a vague verdict. Each statement says what was checked, what passed, what was flagged — and what it does not establish.

Three contracts

Analysis requestWhat exact computation should be performed?

  • Content-hashed inputs
  • Method, implementation, version
  • Parameters, covariates, seeds
  • Deterministically hashable

Pre-registered planWhat did the scientist intend before seeing the result?

  • Locked before the analysis runs
  • Pre-specified vs. post-hoc
  • Amendments tracked & signed
  • Deviations surfaced, never hidden

Assurance profileWhat must be true before a claim can be made?

  • Versioned scientific rules
  • Evidence & replay requirements
  • Permitted exceptions, on record
  • Versioned profiles in development — Q1 2027

Eight dimensions

Assurance dimensions
Assurance dimensionThe question it answers
Input integrityDo we know exactly what data entered the analysis?
Study designDoes the experimental design actually support the contrast being tested?
Statistical methodologyWere appropriate methodological safeguards applied?
Confounding & leakageWere detectable confounders and information leakage caught?
Plan alignmentDid the analysis follow the pre-registered plan?
Execution & provenanceDid the requested computation run as specified — and can we reconstruct what happened?
Independent replayCan it be re-executed independently of the original run?
Long-term reproducibilityIs enough state preserved to replay it years from now?

Independent replay and long-term reproducibility are assessed as their engines ship (mid-2027); until then a statement marks them not assessed.

Scope, stated plainly

  1. What a statement claims

The recorded computation satisfied every requirement of the named, versioned assurance profile — inputs identified, methodology checked, plan alignment established, execution recorded, and, as their engines ship, replay attested and preservation graded.

  2. What it never claims

Biological truth. Clinical validity. Novelty or importance. Correctness of conclusions outside the profile’s scope. The statement says so, in the document itself.

Each row is one dimension, judged by versioned rules frozen at evaluation time. Every statement is signed against published keys today; portable statements that verify fully offline, with no Genomarker software at all, are in development for Q1 2027.

The model is tested in public.

We applied these checks to nine published studies we had no part in — and reported what broke, including in our own platform.
